What are the four basic rules?

out lengths of material for specific jobs. Trying to reduce waste and cost
is always necessary.
To do any simple calculations there are four main rules that you need
to follow.
These rules are:
- Addition:
This is the process of adding two or more numbers to find a total number.
- Subtraction:
This is the process of finding the difference between two numbers.
- Multiplication:
This is a process of adding a particular number to itself several times.
- Division:
This is a process of finding how many times one number can be found in another
number.
