Vee block: A vee block (also known as a female die) is used to bend sheet metal or metal plate. Sometimes referred to as V block.

 



Vernier protractor: A precision measuring instrument used to measure angles within 2 minutes of a degree.

 



Vertically: Vertically describes the orientation of a line or plane (or thing) that is upright, or at right angles to a horizontal line. In other words, it describes something which is at right angles to the horizon.

 



Views: A view is a snapshot of one part of an object seen from a particular orientation. The three most common views are front view, left side view and top view.

 



Visible outlines: The visible outline is the part of the component outline that can be seen. It is shown on an engineering drawing by a thick continuous line.

 



Volume: The volume is the amount of space an object occupies.
